People often avoid in person networking because they are too shy or they are scared of talking. The little secret that they don't know is that if they can just get a few questions out they don't have to talk much at all. People want to be heard and if they feel you are listening to them they are going to like and trust you more than if you are just trying to sell them something.

Also, great suggestions about personalizing your elevator speech. It's definitely more memorable if it is something the other person can visualize.</description>
